What do conductive steel balls look like?
Electroplated steel balls come in a variety of forms; their appearance is primarily determined by three factors: the base material, the type of plating, and the surface finishing process.

· Core Material: The base material is typically carbon steel or bearing steel. Electroplating is applied to the surface to prevent rust and achieve specific properties.
· Color and Plating: The color depends on the plating metal. Common finishes include nickel/chrome plating (silvery-white or chrome-toned with a cool, lustrous sheen), zinc plating (darker silvery-gray), copper plating (coppery-red), gold/silver plating (bright gold or silver), and black or gunmetal finishes.
· Surface Texture: Primarily falls into two categories: glossy (mirror-like reflectivity; smooth and clean to the touch) and matte/satin (fine-textured surface; non-slip and non-reflective).
· Shape and Size: Perfectly spherical; available in a wide range of sizes, from tiny 0.3mm beads to large spheres exceeding 50mm.
